XLS- Extra Large Shot
MCU- Medium Close Up
LS- Large Shot
CU- Close up
MLS- Medium Large Shot
BCU- Basic Close up
MS- Medium Shot
XCU- Extra Close Up
all these shots represent significant moments in scenens in a film. for example if an incited incident occurs and someone has found out that their wife or husband has been captured, a close up would express the actors feelings to the viewer and you would be able to understand their feelings easier. all the shots show something differnt through out a film.
